It's a Hidden Gem
We liked everything about Château de la Rozelle. It is a beautiful property and exceeded our expectations. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The beds were so comfortable. The forested garden was lovely. Conveniently located just 15 minutes away from Blois and close to Château de Chambord
We didn't dislike anything! The breakfast was not fantastic, but adequate and reasonably priced for what was offered. The shower was a bit awkward and keeping the bathroom floor dry was a challenge. But I'm nitpicking.

A good place to visit Loire’s castles
Nice location, a lot of parking places, comfortable room, very good bed, quiet.You can hear many birds singing.
AC wasn’t working, a minibar could be useful.

What was the highlight of Chateau de la Rozelle
In the French countryside yet near an open air museum, manor houses and castles.
Breakfast catered to all tastes - charcuterie, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, jams, cake, mueslis and granolas, croissants. All you could possibly want. The staff went out of their way to help, for instance, when I had stained some clothing they washed it for me. Loads of cycle tracks nearby so you don't have to ride on roads with car traffic, and the hotel will rent out bicycles.

What was the highlight of Chateau de la Rozelle
Lovely staff and host. Amazing Chateau. Would recommend.
We loved the property. Our bedroom was small as in the attic, but had everything we needed. Be aware there may not be a stand up shower in all rooms as we had a shower head on bath, but no room to stand. We were happy as we love baths. We loved the breakfast room orangery and the breakfast itself was fab.
It would have been lovely to have some communal rooms to see and relax in, apart from our bedroom. We feel we didn’t see enough of the inside of the chateau, but understand it is also a home.
